Extended abstract for conference proceedings

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract (min length 2 pages and max length 4 pages) using the template provided below. Two anonymous reviewers will evaluate each extended abstract. The extended abstracts can be accepted (with or without recommendation/request for changes) or rejected. Once an extended abstract is accepted, the authors will be invited to update it and submit its final version.

The extended abstract should include as much of the results and findings as possible in the space provided. The insertion of figures and tables is highly recommended. The decision regarding the acceptance of the submission will be based on the extended abstract only. Therefore, in addition to the technical content, clarity of writing and adherence to the format should not be overlooked.

Submission of an extended abstract and Registration to the Conference are compulsory for presentation at the conference (in the format of either a long oral or a short oral + poster) and publication in the conference proceedings. The Scientific Committee will make a final decision on the type of presentation (long oral or short oral + poster).

Conference proceedings with the extended abstracts in digital format will be distributed to all participants.

Short summary for abstract booklet

During the submission process, a “short summary” (between 100 and 200 words) of the extended abstract is needed. All short summaries will be gathered in an abstract booklet to be printed and distributed with the conference proceeding.

The submission process cannot be validated without the short summary.

Short summary & extended abstract submission

The submission is a 4-step procedure as follows:

STEP 1: Abstract information (title, theme, and number of authors)

STEP 2: Authors’ names

STEP 3: Authors’ information

STEP 4: Key words & short summary. At the end of this step, authors should upload the extended abstract file.
